Over the years I have had a few people asking how I get my shade of blue for the Ultramarines.
This article will be a quick and dirty tutorial for that (sorry for the blurry pictures).

Ultramarine rhino : a few adjustments
Following comments on my warhammer-forum thread, I decided to make a few adjustments to the rhino:
Switched the mesh pattern on the sides to a checkboard pattern and reduced the front lamps OSL.
I also corrected the front thread where I had forgotten a spot under the mud-guard.
Enjoy!

Showcase : Ultramarine rhino
I finally finished the first rhino with my new color scheme.
Notice the XIII in trompe l'oeil on the door! The only conversion here is on the storm bolter, fattened to a quad-bolter. I play it as 2 storm bolters for extra soft comp!
I'm not too happy about the front OSL which look slightly too big, I'll do better next time.

TOZ - Action shots!
The TOZ was a great event, and I had 5 really great games.
Here are a few pictures of the 4th Company fights and opponents.
First game deployment against Sebvoinot and Krissa from the godzilla team:
Sadly we drew this game due to really bad moves on our part, going from a 5-0 score at the beginning of turn 5, to a 2-2 score at the end.
Game 3 against Vink SW and Valdor Eldars with hlegentil, with a killpoint objective, our opponents refused flanked us and the Ultramarines carried the brunt of the fight.
Due to some poor rolling on my opponent side, the 3 ultramarines lasted 4 turns of combat before going down, taking 4 ennemies with them.
We finally lost the game on turn 4 by one point as the SW managed to kill of the last specter and the eldar took linebreaker.

| End of turn 2, most of our heavy weapons are gone, it's getting desperate. |

TOZ - photo dump
The Throne of Zhobby is over! 160 players in teams of 4 competed this week-end in Coubron for fame and glory. The tournament was a serie of 5 games in a 2vs2 setup, each player bringing 1000 pts to the table.
By luck and with a small contribution to the painting juge swiss account, my team and I got to 5th place!
Two of us even placed into the top 16 best painted armies.
Here is what I took:
2 squads of 10 marines in rhino and razorback,
Nemo the Mortis Contemptor
Pictures of my team mates armies:
As usual you can click on the images for a larger display.
Great tournament as always by the JBS.

Objectif TOZ - Contemptor Finished!
After a week of painting, the Contemptor is finally finished!
Less than one week left to level my other models!
Enjoy:
Both arms are magnetised under the shoulder to allow weapon swaps.
The cyclone is also removable.

Objectif TOZ - Assault canons completed
Most metals are also finished.
I'm starting to try colors on the main body.
This dreadnought is from the 4th Ultramarine Company, thus the green. However I'm still not sold on the green eagle, a white one might be better. We'll see.

Objectif TOZ - A Relic Contemptor before 09/03/13
After 4 months without painting, I'm getting back in the saddle with a Forge World Relic Contemptor with double kheres assault canon and cyclone missile launcher. One always needs more Dakka! I need to paint this bad boy before 09/03/13 for the Throne of Zhobby, a team tournament.
I airbrushed the blue back in July and then actually left it untouched for months. The plan is to get him to the level of my ironclad dreadnought:
Time to reload my brush,
Ica
